Nigerian eligible to be in junior secondary 1 -3 and senior secondary 1.

What the Scholarship Covers
-Tuition
How many school years does the scholarship cover.
It covers three(3) school years/sessions.
Selection criteria.
-Score in the selection exam. -Academic performance in the last three academic years.

Special Considerations.
This is to ensure equity considering barriers arising from gender and socio-economic status differences
Encourages application from public schools:
While every Nigerian student can apply for the scholarship, a special notification letter is sent to public schools to encourage public school students to apply for the scholarship.
-Encourages female child participation:
If a female child scores the same mark as a male child on the selection exam, the female child is considered first.
2021/2022 OASIS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME.
An overview
The selection exam was conducted both online and at six physical exam centres in Nigeria ( five states and the federal capital territory Abuja ).
Application deadline and exam: December 2021 .
Scholarship result availability: December 2021.
The number of candidates that sat for the selection exam: 439 students.
The number of candidates awarded Oasis Scholarship 17 students; these are students with the best scores on the selection exam and academic records.
Scholarship start date: January 2022.
Scholarship duration: Three academic years.
Scholarship end date: August 2024.
OASIS SCHOLARSHIP-funded school fees: 100% of the tuition and hostel fee.
