OASIS COMMUNITY HEALTH FOUNDATION
Oasis Community Health Foundation (OCHF) is a registered charity organization and a rural health improvement programme. OCHF aims to improve lives, save lives and improve hope of people in rural Nigerian communities. OCHF is a global health initiative programme that provides quality and comprehensive primary health care services that are free and readily accessible to rural communities in Nigeria. OCHF provides homes, community and clinic-based services, and all the services are FREE FOR ALL. The indigenes of Amechi Uwani founded OCHF. Health care services available at OCHF are:
-Malaria control
-Chronic disease management ( diabetes mellitus, hypertension, chronic musculoskeletal pain, common acute and chronic infectious disease, and others.
-School health programs including health education, oral health, deworming and malaria control programs.
-Rural community oral health care outreaches.
-Rural community eye care outreaches
-Home-to-home health care services.
Other services are :
-Student internship program
-Research program
-Global health initiatives.
OCHF medical clinic opens on weekdays and is run by professional health care providers: medical doctors, registered nurses, laboratory technicians and others.
